Hi there, I’m Susie!

Co-owner of Finch’s Confections (my cat, Finch, is the real owner). I am so excited that you’re here checking out my website! Owning a business was always the plan for me, and it is a dream come true to be able to share my love for beautiful treats with you all. I have always been passionate about baking, but I distinctly remember a long night in my college years when I attempted to make macarons and failed miserably. This sent me down a rabbit hole of YouTube videos trying to figure out what went wrong and why such dainty cookies were so dang hard to bake. I was up until 3 am watching videos, and it took 6 batches after that to finally get them right. From that point on my curiosity and love for creating has driven me to complete every order thus far and encourages me to continue growing my business. I love problem solving and being creative, and baking allows me to utilize those passions for my beloved customers enjoyment <3. I hope you all love my treats; I love making them for you!
